U14 Girls v Bury Rangers (Home), League - 4.11.11

The Under 14 Girls extended their run to 25 unbeaten league games (24 of them victories) in a glorious game of football against local rivals Bury Rangers at Freidberg Avenue. They took an early 1-0 lead through an Inka strike before falling behind 1-3 by early in the second half. A spirited comeback was triggered by an outlandish goal from Abigail from close to half way that sparked the team into top form. Inka scored again to bring the scores level at 3-3 and in the last 10 mins it was almost all Stortford but they couldn't quite beat the Rangers keeper despite several good opportunities. The U14s retain their position on top of the HGFPL.
